Climb-a-Thon

2020

This year, we are raising funds to support greater access to climbing and the outdoors for marginalized and/or disadvantaged communities.

When: August 1-22

Climbing runs Aug. 1-22, ending on Global Climbing Day. But you can start raising money now.

Where: Anywhere!

We want to promote social distancing and encourage everyone to get outside.

Why: Because climbing is for everyone 🙂

We are raising funds for three organizations this year, each of which is doing amazing things for the global climbing community.

How to Participate as a Climber…

1. REGISTER

Choose a non-profit to raise money for, and pay the $10 registration fee.

2. RAISE AWARENESS & RAISE MONEY

Ask everyone you know to support you with pledges. Donors can donate flat donations, or support you with a dollar amount per pitch. This fundraiser only works if YOU get donations.

3. CLIMB!

Between Aug. 1-22, climb as many outdoor pitches as you can. Use the scorecard below to keep track of your climbs. The Climb-a-Thon is based on the honor system (so be honest, be cool).

NOTE: Climbers must submit your scorecard by 5pm on Aug. 23. Climbers that climb the most pitches and raise the most money will win sweet prizes!
